Lauren, a friend of mine, taught me how to combine my wide-angle lens with my short telephoto to make a sort of ghetto macro lens. I was in the mood for some grainy black and whites, so I bumped my ISO up to 1600, and created these shots of a dime that was laying on my dresser. They are completely un-edited, except for resizing, the vignette came naturally. You can buy the set of three 4x6's for $20 if it suites your fancy.
On the more philosophical side, lately I've been struck by realization of the massive consequences of even the smallest of actions can cause.
...I don't the above sentence quite came out right, and it seems to be much too long.
But what I mean is, whether you realize it at the time or not, even the smallest of choices may affect you for the rest of your life! I wish I had an example, but I don't at the moment.
Think about it, and tell me if you agree. If you've seen it in your own life, give me your example.
